This wine has an intense ruby red color with violet hues. Of great complexity on the nose showing notes of cherry and fresh red fruits Its oak ageing provides elegant aromas, blending vanilla and coffee notes with the natural spiciness of the Cabernet Sauvignon. On the mouthfeel it’s a powerful wine, of subtle tannins product of unrivalled climatic conditions of Mendoza and an appropriate maturity level at harvest time. The wine has a long finish, its great fruit where its concentration mixes well with the sweet notes provided by its oak ageing.

About the Estate:

Montes Alpha from Chile is the owner of Kaiken Wines in Argentina. Just as Kaikenes (wild geese, indigenous to Patagonia) fly over Patagonia, criss-crossing the land between Chile and Argentina, so have Montes Wines crossed over the Andes and into Argentina, with the firm purpose of producing fine wines, resulting from a perfect combination of the exceptional conditions given in the Mendoza area, plus the work of talented professionals, both Chilean and Argentine. Wines that would reflect the best of each side of the Andes.
