AƱejamiento: 30 months in oak
The Gran Reserva, from a decent vintage, bears a family resemblance to the above two wines. It was aged for 30 months in French oak before being bottled in 2001. It is beginning to show some maturity in the glass with a brick red rim and ripe fruit aromas of black fruit, cedar, and a whiff of licorice. The tannin is fully integrated and the flavor profile, consisting of smoke, herbs, currant and black cherry is attractively feminine. Drink this elegant wine over the next 4-6 years.

ā€“ Jay Miller (Robert Parker, Wine Advocate)
Sweet plum, raisin and chocolate flavors mingle in this plump red, which has pretty spice and tobacco notes and well-integrated tannins. A traditional style. Still fresh. Drink now through 2011.
