"The deep purple-colored Grand Malbec has a stunning aromatic display of pain grille, mineral, espresso, black cherry, and black raspberry. Large-scaled yet elegant on the palate, it has gobs of succulent black fruits, serious depth and concentration, and enough stuffing to unfold for another 5-7 years. This lengthy, powerful effort's drinking window should be open from 2014 to 2036.



Cuvelier Los Andes:

Cuvelier Los Andes was founded by the Cuvelier family who have over 100 years producing wine. They own the fantastic Chateau Leoville Poyferé in Saint Julien, Chateau Le Crock in Saint Estephe and Chateau Camensac in Haut Medoc.

In 1998, the Cuvelier family joined the famous Bordeaux enologist and consultant Michel Rolland in his Argentine project, the Clos de los Siete. The Cuvelier Los Andes winery was born and remains to this day a major contributor to the Clos de los Siete project, as well as making wine under their label. The labels for Cuvelier Los Andes are a homage to their Saint Julien estate, Léoville-Poyferré. The wines Of Cuvelier Los Andes are definitely bold, interesting, terroir driven and unique.
