Añejamiento: 14 months in oak.
"Saturated ruby. More powerful than the '04 on the nose, offering deep cherry preserve and plum scents. Displays zestier red fruits on the palate, which is firmed by fine-grained tannins. A soft mineral quality arrives with air, adding energy to the dark fruit qualities. The nicely focused finish is spicy and long.

– 91 points Josh Raynolds (Stephen Tanzer, International Wine Cellar)

The Crianza is 100% Tempranillo aged for 14 months in French and American oak prior to bottling without filtration. Dark ruby-colored, the nose exhibits mineral and earth notes as well as plenty of spice and blackberry aromas. Smooth-textured and easy-going, the wine has excellent balance and depth, complexity, savory flavors, and a lengthy, pure close.

– 89 points Jay Miller (Robert Parker, Wine Advocate)

About Sierra Cantabria:

Sierra Cantabria is a group that produces only wines of high quality. The responsible winemakers behind these wines are the Eguren family who has several awards for producing wines with structure and elegance. They are dedicated to finding old vineyards and getting them to produce the best wines that could ever be achieved there. In this they are genius!

Sierra Cantabria is consistently an excellent producer of a broad range of modern-styled, fruit-forward wines. These represent exceptional value at the entry level and some of the highest quality of the region at the upper end of the range. They usually get the highest scores with Parker and Wine Spectator with the upper end range. www.sierracantabria.com
